The selection of species should take into account their natural and aesthetic qualities, resistance and suitability for functioning in the rain garden. Plantings should be carried out taking into account the appropriate habitat requirements of individual species and ensuring the appropriate quantity and quality of plant material. 5.Quantitative and qualitative parameters of plant material: -plants intended for planting in rain gardens in containers should be characterised by habitat requirements corresponding to periodic flooding as well as prolonged periods of drought.
