In accordance with the amended Order of 21 July 2015 on technical requirements and methods for monitoring and controlling sanitation systems, the Agglomeration has committed for the Béziers sanitation system to a discharge of less than 5% of the pollution flows produced during the year. This objective is set out in the Prefectural Decree of 7 April 2017. To achieve this objective, the Agglomeration is planning the construction of a 18,000 m3 storm basin and its transfer networks, upstream of the Béziers intermunicipal wastewater treatment plant.
