What the buyer is looking for

Laboratory services for environmental services in the Mikkeli region 2027-2028 (option 2029) The environmental services in the Mikkeli region request your offer for laboratory services on the terms and conditions mentioned in this invitation to tender. Mikkeli Region Environmental Services is the regional environmental health monitoring unit of Hirvensalmi, Kangasniemi, Mikkeli and Mäntyharju. In our operations, we need laboratory services, for example, to study domestic waters, swimming beach and swimming pool waters and food. Our customers are municipalities, companies and private individuals. Laboratory services are mainly procured for the sampling of samples for regulatory supervision of control sites. In addition, sampling related to environmental disturbances may be considered. The services are paid for by the environmental services and/or monitoring sites in the Mikkeli region.…

… Some of the above samples have been put out to tender by the operators in our area of operation, but some will be delivered to the cooperation laboratory we have chosen through us. Our customers pay for most of the samples themselves. Our own operations include the well water research offered to the clients of the clinic, possible project-based samples or samples related to the investigation of disturbances and food poisonings, for example. In addition, we order and deliver samples for analysis on behalf of our customers. Such samples include bathing water samples from public bathing areas, regular monitoring samples from water cooperatives and some municipal water utilities, and bathing water samples from public pools in accordance with the Pool Water Decree. The aim of the call for tenders is to find the most cost-effective service provider also for the benefit of our customers. In choosing our co-operation laboratory, we value not only the price, but also the readiness to act in environmental health disorders, the ease of sending or delivering a sample, and the comprehensiveness of our services to meet our needs. The laboratory must have a back-up duty system and be prepared to carry out examinations during exceptional working hours. Accreditation is required for analyses and the laboratory must be approved for the examination of official samples. The official samples must be transferred to the VATI information system. We reserve the right to reject all offers submitted. Tenders shall be selected on the basis of the criterion of overall economic advantage, which shall be compared with the criterion of price-quality ratio. The weight of the price is 70 points and the weight of the quality is 30 points. The most economically advantageous tender is the tender meeting the minimum requirements and receiving the highest reference points.,
