What the buyer is looking for

The aim of the assignment is to identify and assess dependencies of German/German companies in global supply chains. The first step is to develop supply chain indices for various analytical purposes (Module A). In a second step, national dependencies on trading partners are to be derived (Module B). The analytical framework is then to be expanded to include indirect dependencies (Module C) and, using appropriate criteria, to include the assessment of actual vulnerabilities at national level (Module D). Based on the findings, an interactive (partially) visual IT-based presentation is to be developed that provides and visualizes analysis functions for users via different analysis levels (Module E). Finally, dependencies and vulnerabilities at the disaggregated level are to be linked to supply, value-added and technology chains in order to be able to identify affected supply chains in scenarios and to look at impacts model-based (Module F).
