What the buyer is looking for
This group purchase concerns the conclusion of a framework contract with a single contractor for the supply of office and school supplies, for a period of 48 months, to the boards across the scope of IOK and which are members of IOK’s inter-municipal purchasing service. These boards are understood to mean: police zones, relief zones, CPAS, municipal and city councils and welfare associations. This is a non-exclusive framework agreement without any purchase obligation. Consequently, notwithstanding the award and conclusion of the framework agreement by the contracting authority IOK on the basis of these specifications, the aforementioned authorities are free to order elsewhere during the duration of the contract or not to place an order. The contractor cannot claim compensation for this.
