What the buyer is looking for
The purpose of this contract is to conclude a framework agreement with one economic operator for the supply of tools for green maintenance, both electric and with combustion engine as hand tools and accessories for the duration of 48 months, to the boards that are members of IOK’s inter-municipal purchasing service. These boards are understood to mean: police zones, relief zones, CPAS, municipal and city councils and welfare associations. During the term of the contract, a number of welfare associations may still be able to accede to this framework agreement. This is a non-exclusive framework agreement without any purchase obligation. Consequently, notwithstanding the conclusion of the framework agreement by the contracting authority IOK on the basis of these specifications, the aforementioned authorities are free to order elsewhere during the duration of the contract or not to place an order. The contractor cannot claim compensation for this.
