What the buyer is looking for
In Tienen, the existing houses Beauduinstraat 122 and 124 will be demolished. The vacated zone will be set up as a public domain in line with the recently realized opening of 't Schip. The adjacent houses must be structurally safeguarded. Where appropriate, the necessary modifications to the roof and/or other parts of the structures must be made. Energetically, the released facades must be provided with sufficient insulation per house. The protection against the weather must also be guaranteed at all times both during the execution and after the realization of the works. Specific attention must be given to the house Beauduinstraat 120 which is included as a defined heritage 'Citizen's House of 1628'. … approach of the preferred scenario chosen from the design study prepared by Multiplicity); - preparation of the final design; - preparation and submission of the environmental permit application; - drawing up the tender dossier and conducting the tender procedure for the execution of the works; - follow-up of the execution of the works (demolition of the existing homes and realization of the new layout of the public domain); - including all necessary sub-studies. We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that a mandatory site visit is included in the assignment documents. Since the assignment provides for the Gete to be reopened at the area of the assignment and the existing historical arch vault to be restored and that is not clearly visible in normal circumstances, the Gete will be dried so that an extensive site visit in the vault as well as in the existing houses (intended for demolition) is possible. The site visit will be organised on 3 and 4 September. An appointment must be made beforehand. This appointment can be made no later than 1 September (see assignment documents).
