Criminal cases within the framework of social criminal law also belong to this lot.; Public Procurement Law & Business Law This concerns consultancy services that relate to the patrimony of the residential company Thuispunt Gent. In the construction or renovation process, different actors (contractors, architects, engineering firms, landings, neighbours …) come into contact with each other, making disputes almost inevitable. Not only files where Thuispunt Gent itself is a client are included, but also cases where Thuispunt Gent is the buyer of real estate or projects. It is stressed that a thorough and practice-based expertise in the combination of construction, contract law and public procurement is an absolute prerequisite. After all, it is often a combination of different branches of law. Non-exhaustive description, advice on: • mediation and reconciliation; • review agreements relating to (planned) real estate transactions, such as intent agreements; • ownership, leasehold, building, contract law, liability, etc. • disputes concerning construction and demolition files; • discussions on finishing; • problems related to the timing of works • delivery problems; • damage caused by the execution of the works; • late-time fines; • multi-working-mining; • delivery disputes; • public contracts and contracts: - drafting of the tender specifications - drafting of the award report and decision Procedures relating to spatial planning for the Deputation, the Council for Licensing Disputes and the Council of State (as the court of cassation) fall within the field of spatial ordering.
