Dabei werden Briefe als digitales Dokument im PDF vom Auftraggeber bereitgestellt, vom Auftragnehmer (AN) abgerufen, gedruckt, kuvertiert, ggf. frankiert sowie für den Postversand vorbereitet und durch Briefzusteller dem Empfänger zugestellt. Druck und Kuvertierung müssen in einem automatisierten maschinellen (geschlossenen) Prozess erfolgen, damit ein Lesen der Inhalte durch natürliche Personen ausgeschlossen ist.
