The maintenance work within the scope of the contract mainly includes regular maintenance on primary (approximately 3,000 kilometres) and regional flood defences (approximately 3,000 kilometres), but is not limited to: The making of deposits; Restoring typesetting; Fighting weeds; Carrying out groundwork; Replacing and maintaining drainage systems; Replacing and maintaining fencing; Replacing bank defense; Removing bulkheads and ruts; Cleaning beach entrances and maintenance of beach poles. WSHD makes its area information available via ArcGIS Online, which includes all assets located in the working area.
