Neonatal heel rick screening (NHS) is a nationwide screening program that is performed on newborns in the first week after birth. In the Netherlands (European and Caribbean Netherlands), approximately 170,000 newborns are given the heel snare each year. The Hulprik screening is the longest-running national screening program in public health care. The analysis of the medic blood currently provides important information about twenty-seven rare, often inherited, serious conditions. The blood test will be carried out from 2026 by three screening laboratories, of which the RIVM-GZB screening laboratory acts as a reference laboratory. … also been added to the programme and the laboratories will be screened with a multiplex Total solution with which both SCID and SMA can be screened. In addition, it is possible that in the coming years it will be decided that X-linked Agammaglobulinemia (XLA) should be screened. To ensure uniformity, RIVM has decided to purchase the devices (hardware), software, reagents and associated maintenance (preventive, corrective, adaptive), also known as Total Solution, and to make them available to the screening laboratories. This tender procedure concerns a contract for the delivery, implementation and maintenance of a validated Total solution for the SCID and SMA screening for the screening laboratories. The purpose of this European tender is to conclude an Agreement with one Contractor, according to the principle of reagent rental whereby the supplier remains the owner of the equipment. The Contractor will be fully responsible for the delivery, implementation and continuous provision of the Total Solution and the provision of related services in accordance with the specifications laid down in the Tender Documents.
