What the buyer is looking for
HUS Group invites tenders for ethanol-based hand sanitisers. The products are described in more detail below in the invitation to tender and in Annex 1 to the invitation to tender. This is an overall contract, i.e. the contract is not divided into lots. Three contractors will be selected. An electronic auction will be used to carry out the procurement. In addition, products belonging to the product groups covered by the contract which are not identified in the product annex may be procured during the contract period in accordance with the estimated value of the contract (see draft contract). … invitation to tender will be used by: HUS Group (HUS), South Karelia wellbeing services county, Kymenlaakso wellbeing services county, Päijät-Häme wellbeing services county, City of Helsinki, Eastern Uusimaa wellbeing services county, Central Uusimaa wellbeing services county, Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county, Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county and the Finnish Defence Forces. See Annex 2 to the invitation to tender for details of the draft contract. At the time of publication of the invitation to tender, HUS estimated, on the basis of the purchase history, that the total procurement value calculated for 4 years would be approximately EUR 2.1-2.4 million VAT at 0%, including all contracting entities involved in the procurement. This is an estimate and the contracting entity does not commit to the stated amounts in euro and the actual consumption indicated in the invitation to tender. Final order quantities may be higher or lower than indicated. Most of the products are so-called flow-through products, which are ordered from HUS's order system, delivered to HUS's central warehouse in Vantaa, Finland, and distributed through HUS' central warehouse to the offices of HUS, Kymenlaakso, the City of Helsinki, Central Uusimaa, Vantaa and Kerava, East Uusimaa and the Finnish Defence Forces. The wellbeing services counties of Päijät-Häme, South Karelia and Western Uusimaa place their orders from their own order system, and the products are also delivered to their delivery addresses. HUS estimates that approximately 23% of the total value of the procurement indicated above is ordered by the wellbeing services counties of Päijät-Häme, South Karelia or Western Uusimaa (unbinding estimate).
