As part of the fight against animal diseases, waste can be released, such as used personal protective equipment (PPE) and other waste (catering waste, packaging material, bales of straw, discarded wheelbarrows, feed dishes, etc.). This waste must be disposed of and treated after control. In addition, there are incidents in the field of non-animal disease, such as plant health, where waste can be released which must be transported and processed, this also concerns infectious waste, so that transport and processing must take place in almost the same way. The waste to be transported and treated is waste with Euralcodes 18.02.02, 18.02.03, 18.01.03. or 18.01.04. This means that it is, among other things, waste whose collection, transport and processing are subject to special guidelines in order to prevent infection. The estimated contract value for lot 2 is therefore € 333.000,- excluding VAT The contract value for both lots is estimated at a total of € 573.625,- excluding VAT for the entire duration of the Agreement(s). However, tenderers should take into account that the actual purchase may be significantly lower than indicated above. This is because there are the above-mentioned uncertainties that affect the decline. In addition, there may also be a large-scale Crisis and the maximum contract value may be higher than the estimated value. The maximum contract value for both lots in total is estimated at € 1,361,125,- excluding VAT, whereby the maximum contract value for lot 1 is € 381,250,- excluding VAT and the maximum contract value for lot 2 is € 979,875,- excluding VAT. This is based on deployment in times of crisis in which large-scale animal disease outbreaks occur, assuming a total of 90 outbreaks (60 HPAI and 30 other outbreaks) during the contract period. The estimate is based on the risk assessment of Wageningen Economic Research (WEcR) regarding animal disease outbreaks in the Netherlands.
