What the buyer is looking for
This re-tender concerns the carrying out of transport of assistive devices, such as wheelchairs, walkers, electric beds, passenger lifts, etc. for the Assistive Technology Centre in Frederiksberg Municipality. The transport takes place between Frederiksberg Municipality's Aid Center and the citizens' residence. Citizens are primarily resident within the city limits of the municipality. However, there may be some transports outside the municipality. In these cases, these are addresses on Zealand. In connection with the handover, some aids must be mounted and assembled, and an easy instruction must be given in the use of the aid. The transport includes both delivery, collection and exchange of the aids. The transport must take place on weekdays during the daytime between 9:00 and 14:00. … assistive devices, which usually require one person for the transport, and “heavy” assistive devices, which usually require two people for the transport. The municipality has experience that when driving light aids, approx. 3-4 address drops per hour can be carried out on average. When driving heavy aids, an average of approx. 1-3 adres sedrop per hour can be carried out. The number of address drops depends, among other things, on the nature of the aid, any requirements for installation and instruction, as well as the geographical distances between the addresses. The information is indicative and based on the municipality's experience so far. The municipality expects the annual consumption of the contract to be approximately DKK 0.8 million, excluding VAT. The expected consumption per year is only an expression of the municipality's estimate, and is not binding during the agreement period. The invitation to tender is carried out as an EU public tender in accordance with Title II of Act No 1564 of 15 December 2015, ‘The Public Procurement Act’, which means that any suitable tenderer has the right to submit a tender. The tendered contract shall enter into force on 1 January 2027 and shall end without notice on 31 December 2029. So far, the municipality has an option of extension for 2 x 12 months.
