… scope of services includes the provision and operation of a full-service online election product in the entirety of the components (such as cloud solution, online election software, technical system environment for operation, full-service, project support, etc.) required for the achievement of goals. Start date of the contract: 01.07.2027 or after award of contract: 31.03.2030, unless an election challenge action is filed If the election result is challenged, the duration of the contract may be extended monthly until the conclusion of the appeal proceedings. Note: In June 2026, the Pensions Commission submitted a total of 33 recommendations to ensure long-term pension protection in Germany. The Federal Government has announced that it intends to implement the recommendations in full as soon as possible. According to current knowledge, implementation could fall into the tendering/performance phase and lead to up to 75 million eligible voters being entitled to vote electronically (or by letter) with the contracting authority. In this case, it must be ensured that the scope of services is adjusted accordingly (see price sheet, Annex 3 to the EVB-IT system contract).
