What the buyer is looking for
The subject-matter of the contract is the provision of public services in the national scheduled urban bus transport in the territory of the City of Nové Zámky (‘MAD’). The services procured are within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23.10.2007 on public passenger transport services by rail and by road and repealing Council Regulations (EEC) Nos 1191/69 and 1107/70, within the meaning of Act No 332/2023 of the National Council of the Slovak Republic on public passenger transport and amending certain acts, and the vehicle fleet will be composed in accordance with Act No 214/2021 of the National Council of the Slovak Republic on the promotion of clean road transport vehicles and amending certain acts. The intention of the contracting authority is to provide the travelling public with safe, efficient and high-quality transport services in MAD, their adequate performance according to the needs of the city's transport service.
