What the buyer is looking for
Since 2023, the district of Havelland, as the tender leader, as well as the administrations of the cities of Nauen and Falkensee and the municipality of Wustermark, have offered their employees the leasing of a bicycle for the purpose of wage conversion as part of occupational health promotion, in order to strengthen their position as an attractive employer and as a contribution to greater sustainability and climate protection. Due to the high demand, employees should be able to rent bicycles even after the end of the current contract period. The collective agreement for the conversion of charges for the leasing of bicycles in the municipal public service (TV bicycle leasing) of 25 October 2020 provides the legal basis for the conversion of charges in the case of collectively agreed employees. Section 2(3) of the Besoldungsgesetz für das Land Brandenburg (BbgBesG) also provides for the possibility for civil servants to convert their remuneration for the purpose of bicycle leasing.
