What the buyer is looking for
This call for tenders concerns participation in the DOMETEK project led by the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The project is carried out by DTU with the participation of several subcontractors and runs until the end of April, 2029. The purpose of the project is to document methane emissions at farm level (stable + storage) when these measures are implemented, with sufficient precision and robustness to be included in Denmark's national emission inventory. … technologies developed, tested and implemented on Danish pig farms, thereby achieving the reduction potential for full-scale use. In total, 240 emission measurements are carried out on 40 pig farms covering three farm practices. Only trace gas measurements (‘TDM method’) shall be used for the determination of methane emissions. The main results of the project are annual methane emission rates, emission factors and abatement efficiencies representative of the three farm practices. This delivery ("lot 1") includes: - Performing tracer gas measurements to determine total methane emissions from 10 farms with 6 measurements distributed over a calendar year (60 measurements). - Agricultural advisory services - including: Selection of farms for measuring methane emissions as well as obtaining farm size data, etc., assessment of seasonal and diurnal variation in methane emissions and determination of methane emission factors.
