What the buyer is looking for
The subject-matter of the contract is the procurement of four (4) complete technological facilities for the treatment of hazardous medical waste at the place of its generation (hereinafter referred to as ‘the subject-matter of the contract’). The equipment must ensure mechanical crushing and subsequent decontamination of all types of waste without the use of chemicals and without the generation of waste water. The process shall result in dry, stable, indistinguishable and microbiologically safe waste with reduced volume that can be classified as other waste and further managed in accordance with the relevant legislation. The subject of the contract also includes equipment for the extraction and filtration of emerging steam, odour control system, transport, assembly, commissioning, training of operating personnel, and provision of warranty service.
