… product annex may be purchased during the contract period in accordance with the estimated value of the procurement. For details, see the draft contract attached to the invitation to tender. The aim is to get a sufficient number of products to cover different patient needs through competitive tendering, and to ensure that the products are delivered safely and available when they are needed. The contract is valid for a fixed term of two (2) years, after which it is valid until further notice. This is a joint procurement by several contracting entities, which is carried out as a procurement tyre. The products requested in this invitation to tender will be used by: HUS Group (HUS), Kymenlaakso Welfare Area and Päijät-Häme Welfare Area. For details, see the Annex to the invitation to tender, Draft contract. The estimated total value of the acquisition (VAT 0%) is approximately EUR 920 000, calculated over a period of 48 months. This is an estimate and the contracting entity does not commit itself to the stated amounts in euros and the actual amounts of consumption indicated in the invitation to tender. Final order quantities may be higher or lower than indicated. HUS's share of the estimated value of the acquisition is approximately EUR 848,000, Kymenlaakso's share of the estimated value of the acquisition is approximately EUR 20,000 and Päijät-Häme's share of the estimated value of the acquisition is approximately EUR 52,000. Some of the products are consignment warehousing products. They are taken from a warehouse located on the premises of the customer under the responsibility of the supplier or delivered by the supplier to the operation. The products are ordered from HUS' ordering system. In principle, products offered after a procurement decision cannot be exchanged for other products. The starting point for the public procurement procedure is the finality of the tender (Section 74 of the Procurement Act and case-law). In addition, Section 136 of the Procurement Act provides that contracts may not be substantially modified (replacement of products would be considered as a substantial modification). The subject-matter and requirements of the contract are described in detail in the invitation to tender and its annexes.
