The research area is located on Vaasa's 9.0 m waterway and in the port of Vaasa in Vaasa. The purpose of the ground studies that are the subject of the procurement is to find out the ground conditions of the area for the construction planning of deepening the fairway. The groundwork includes drilling (clamp/reflector and drill drill drilling), soil sampling and their laboratory studies. A description of the performance of the ground investigations can be found in the ground investigations programme attached to the invitation to tender. Sediment sampling and partial analysis must be carried out in the autumn of 2026 and other work at the latest in spring 2027. The procurement complies with the Act on Public Procurement and Concessions (1397/2016, Procurement Act). The procurement is carried out using an open procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act. The procurement is a service procurement above the EU threshold. One consultancy contract will be tendered out in the procurement. The customer's procurement documents related to the procurement are available in Finnish.
