What the buyer is looking for
The Municipality is conducting a tender procedure for the tendering of the Waste Collection Communication Campaign. The Zoetermeer Waste Collection Department (AIZ) is responsible for the collection and treatment of household waste within the municipality. The collection system is based on two principles: ease of use for residents and promoting waste separation and recycling. Residents can offer residual waste and GFT+E separately, using mini containers in low-rise buildings and in stacked construction of underground containers. In addition, separate collection of, among other things, glass, waste paper, textiles and PBD takes place via central environmental islands in the district. Since the beginning of 2026, the municipality of Zoetermeer has applied a new waste policy, in which better informing residents is an important measure to achieve the separation objectives.
