Predmetni obuhvat čini novoformairana parcela k.č.br. 1863/1 k.o. Peščenica. Na zajedničkoj čestici nalazit će se Osnovna škola Dragutina Kušlana i postojeća građevina III. Gimnazije. Prema propozicijama iz GUP-a grada Zagreba, u gusto naseljenim područjima, odnosno u već formiranim naseljima veličina građevne čestice škole iznosi minimalno 20 m2 po učeniku. Novoformirana čestica dostatna je za potrebe III. Gimnazije - max 672 učenika te Oš Dragutina Kušlana sa planiranih 448 učenika. Postojeća škola nalazi se na istočnom dijelu čestice, dok se izgradnja Osnovne škole planira na njenom zapadnom, izdvojenom dijelu. Katnost postojeće gimnazije iznosi Su+P+2, a planirane osnovne škole Po+P+3. Buduća Osnovna škola Dragutina Kušlana predstavljati će društveno-školsku cjelinu sa III.
