Om de operationele slagkracht van de ILT te versterken, wordt de inkoop van tolkdiensten gecentraliseerd bij één gecontracteerde partij. Medewerkers van de ILT komen tijdens hun taakuitvoering regelmatig in contact met anderstalige partijen, waarbij accurate communicatie cruciaal is voor een rechtmatige handhaving. De huidige overeenkomst voor tolkdiensten verloopt van rechtswege per 31 december 2026. Dit beschrijvend document legt de basis voor een eenduidige marktbenadering, waarmee de ILT één betrouwbare partner selecteert voor alle ad hoc en geplande tolkbehoeften vanaf 1 januari 2027. De scope van deze aanbesteding omvat het leveren van alle benodigde mondelinge, audiovisuele en fysieke tolkdiensten ten behoeve van de ILT. De opdracht omvat zowel de coördinatie, de logistiek als de daadwerkelijke uitvoering van de tolkdiensten in alle benodigde (gangbare en schaarse) talen. Binnen de scope van de af te sluiten overeenkomst wordt onderscheid gemaakt tussen twee vormen van dienstverlening, te weten: 1. ad hoc tolkdiensten; 2. planbare Tolkdiensten. De omvang zal nabij 104.000euro per jaar bedragen.
