All documents to be submitted digitally must be submitted in a contiguous file as a PDF document with a maximum size of 10 MB. The name of the file shall be as follows: ‘BSZET_KunstamBau_Künstlername_Vorname.pdf’. Applications that are incomplete, not submitted by the deadline or not submitted digitally will be excluded. Applications that do not comply with the required formatting (PDF file) will also be rejected. There will be no additional request for missing or incomplete application documents. The further submission procedures are set out in the tender documents. In the first stage, professional artists and groups of artists residing in the European Union can apply. The participation of interdisciplinary groups that deal with works in public space and use contemporary art as a means of expression is possible with the participation of at least one professional artist. In the case of groups, all members must be nominated by name and at least one member must be registered in a country of the European Union. Multiple applications both as a single person and within groups are inadmissible. Stage 2 – Competition procedure: Contest entries must be submitted in full, on time, anonymously and in digital and analogue form, in accordance with the specifications set out in the competition documents. The competition entries must be submitted by 16.03.2027 at 3 p.m. at the latest in accordance with the submission procedures laid down in the competition documents. In the case of submission by post or by a transport company, the special rules on the time of delivery and the maximum grace period in accordance with the tender documents apply. Nachweis der künstlerischen Arbeit/Arbeitsproben der Bewerberin/des Bewerbers/ der Gruppe anhand von drei Referenzen zu umgesetzten und geplanten eigenen Kunstwerken oder Entwürfen in vergleichbaren funktionalen Zusammenhängen und Dimensionen. Die Darstellung jeder Referenz soll auf einer Seite (DIN A4, Auflösung 300dpi) erfolgen (Internetlinks sind nicht zugelassen) und neben aussagekräftigen Bildern folgende Informationen enthalten: • Verfasser, Titel, Datum • Spezifischer Ort, Material, Größe • Kontext (z.B. Wettbewerb/freie Arbeit) • Projektsumme • Auftraggeber • erläuternder Kurztext Bei der Auswahl der Teilnehmenden wird auf ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis zwischen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern geachtet. Als Referenz muss mindestens ein realisiertes Kunstwerk mit einem Realisierungskostenumfang von 80.000,-€ oder mehr eingereicht werden. Die beiden weiteren Referenzen können sich auf einen Entwurf für ein noch nicht geschaffenes Werk beziehen. Als Referenzbeispiele gelten Werke mit Bezug zu öffentlichen Räumen bzw. Nutzungskontexten. Alle Referenzen sind in vergleichbaren Dimensionen in Bezug auf Größe, technische Erfordernisse und Kostenrahmen zur vorliegenden Arbeitsaufgabe, zur Erfüllung der Anforderungen und der Aufgabenstellung des Standortes/der Standorte auszuwählen. Zur Wahrung der Chancen für junge Künstlerinnen und Künstler ist eine angemessene Beteiligung junger Kunstschaffender vorgesehen. Bei Kooperationen von Künstlerinnen oder Künstlern, sind die Referenzen eines Teilnehmenden ausreichend. Eine Ideenskizze für das BSZET ist nicht Teil der Bewerbung in Stufe 1 des Verfahrens.
