What the buyer is looking for
The City of Tampere's procurement services are tendering out public transport services 2_2026 commissioned by Tampere Region Public Transport (Nysse). This is a tendering procedure that exceeds the EU threshold in accordance with the Act on Public Contracts in Special Sectors. The procurement concerns the tendering of K93. K93 includes line 7 Linnainmaa – Hakametsä – Keskusta – Turkey – Tesoma – Käräjätörmä. The gross contract for K93 will be put out to tender for a twelve (12) year contract period starting on 7 August 2028. The acquisition includes the possibility to extend the contract for a maximum of three one-year (1+1+1) option periods. The contract to be tendered will include cooperation in the development of the service even before the traffic starts. K93 requires the use of electric articulated buses. In K93, 1% of the annual value of the acquisition is applied as an employment condition.
