… masters skills and drills when it really matters. Various sports activities (except contact sports) are practiced. Training is carried out on the obstacle courses and under all conditions in rugged terrain. In addition to training, one exercises, such an exercise sometimes takes a few hours, but that can also be several weeks. Exercise can be in the Netherlands on the heath where the Glasses are exposed to sand and dust, but this can also be abroad for example with cold weather training in Norway (polar area), or a jungle training in Suriname (tropical conditions). The glasses must therefore be suitable for use during these (physical) harsh conditions and must remain firmly on the head. In addition to heavy conditions, the Glasses are also used in combination with a variety of optical (tools), such as binoculars, night vision glasses, visors, aiming devices, etc. In addition, it is important for military personnel who wear a (motor) helmet for their work that the Service Glasses and / or Kite Glasses are suitable for use in combination with wearing a (motor) helmet. Finally, it is important that the Service Glasses have a unisex design and are not too time-bound because they are worn by all military personnel. The Assignment consists of the delivery of the Mounts, with the exception of the Insert Mounts, and the delivery of Nosepads and Eartips for all Mounts supplied by the Supplier. In addition, the Supplier is responsible for the stock management, or the timely call-up to the Contracting Authority, of Deployment fittings supplied to the Defence by a third party. Glasses (delivery, grinding and mounting) The Assignment also consists of the supply of Glasses including the grinding and mounting of these Glasses in the Monturen (including the Inzetmonturen) on the basis of the prescription provided by the Contracting Authority. As well as the subsequent packaging and shipping of the Glasses to the indicated Locations of the Contracting Authority (CMH, DCPL, CML or Fire Department). Additional products The supply and, in the case of Glasses, the grinding and mounting of Additional products is part of the Assignment. Additional products include Glasses whose spherical value falls outside the standard range or specifications as included in the Annex Program of Requirements, as well as Utilities belonging to the Frames supplied by the Supplier, other than Eartips and Nosepads for the purpose of the Service Glasses Frame.
