What the buyer is looking for
This invitation to tender concerns the invitation to tender for the processing of domestic vegetable, fruit and garden waste (GFT) from around 40 municipalities. Coöperatieve Vereniging Midwaste Milieu U.A. (Midwaste) is the contracting authority and will be the Client in the contract to be formed on behalf of eight of its members and the approximately 40 municipalities represented by them. In total, this amounts to approximately 175ktonnes of domestic GFT per year. The total volume of waste is divided into 10 parcels for which Midwaste is looking for multiple processors. The parcels have an initial duration of approximately 2-8 years with two renewal options. The parcels have different end dates. The tender uses an award methodology of price and sustainability in the form of CO2 equivalents to which a fictitious value is attributed. Transfer of the FTT and Transport to the processing site is not part of the assignment.
