… Republic, the requirements of the SRZ and the SOC of the Slovak Republic, as well as the requirements of the GSP, š. p. on the construction and technical possibilities of the site with regard to the operation of the Nitra VD, especially during the passage of flood flows. At the same time, work will be carried out within the project "Removing barriers in the watercourse Nitra, VÚ SKN0004, VD Jelšovce, rkm 72,100" (Hať Jelšovce) - river stage in rkm 72,100 on the river Nitra due to the existing difference in the upper and lower levels forms an insurmountable obstacle in the migration of ichthyofauny. To interconnect the Nitra River at the site of the existing stage, it is necessary to build a fish line that will allow the passage of ichthyofauny. Due to the height arrangement of the step, the most advantageous type of fish gradient was chosen as an obstacle-free type of fish ladder with a meandering trough, thus achieving a lengthening of the route and reducing the slope of the bottom of the fish ladder. Reconstruction of the original fish pipeline is impossible due to the overall construction and layout of the weir and hydroelectric power plant.
