The purpose of the construction is to improve the provision of reliable power supply to the traction line on the line section of Čaňa Št. hr. - Barca, which will have a positive impact on the continuity of rail traffic. Sufficient power will also be provided for the newly built electrified marshalling yard and siding of buildings of strategic importance Strategic area of Valalika.
