Rozbudowa drogi ma prowadzić do usprawnienia dojazdu i dojścia mieszkańców ulicy Tadeusza Kościuszki do terenów przyległych oraz posesji jak również do poprawy warunków ruchu i bezpieczeństwa użytkowników drogi, w szczególności niechronionych uczestników ruchu drogowego. Zakres robót wykonany będzie w istniejącym pasie drogowym.
