What the buyer is looking for
The City of Riihimäki (hereinafter referred to as the "Procurement Unit" or the "Subscriber") invites tenders for the organisation of meeting catering in the City of Riihimäki in accordance with this invitation to tender and the accompanying documents. The service to be procured is a service in accordance with Annex E, which is provided for in Chapter 11 of the Procurement Act (1397/2016). Under Article 25 of the Law, the national threshold for other specific service contracts referred to in point E of the Annex is EUR 300 000, excluding VAT. … economically advantageous tender shall be the lowest price. Prices will be scored on the basis of the weightings given in the invitation to tender and the successful tenderer will be the one with the highest overall score of the successful tenders. The minimum quality requirements laid down in the invitation to tender allow comparison only on the basis of price. All procurement requirements are set out in the invitation to tender and its annexes. The contract period is fixed-term and starts at the earliest on 01.12.2026. The fixed-term contract period is valid until 31 December 2028, after which the contract period continues for an indefinite period. After the fixed-term contract period, the notice period for both parties is three (3) months. The contracting entity does not commit to certain procurement volumes, and the contract does not constitute an exclusive right for the Service Provider to carry out the procurement. One (1) supplier shall be selected for the contract.,
