Installation, connection, commissioning, removal and repair work for Christmas lighting 2026

… are located in the central area of Rauma. Christmas lights are stored in 2-3 different warehouses in the centre of Rauma. Before the installation works begin, the customer informs the provider of the place where the lights will be handed over. The tenderer is responsible for picking up the lights from the warehouses. Pick-up locations and pick-up times are agreed separately. The procurement includes, in principle, the following work phases. More detailed site-specific job descriptions, scopes and requirements are set out below in this call for tenders. 1. Picking up Christmas lights from the warehouses designated by the customer in the city of Rauma. 2. Receiving Christmas lights and testing their functionality before installation. (Possible repairs will be carried out at the hourly charge price for fault repair and maintenance work, to be agreed separately with the customer.) 3. Installing Christmas lights on objects designated by the client. 4. Implementation, connection and commissioning of the necessary electrical connections. 5. Checking the functionality of the lighting and correcting any defects detected during the installation phase. 6. Dismantling of Christmas lighting at the time specified by the customer. 7. Careful removal, packaging and delivery of lamps, wires and other accessories to the warehouse designated by the customer. 8. Necessary fault repair and maintenance when ordered separately. The tenderer should note that some of the installations will be carried out in a busy central area. The work must be carried out in such a way as to cause as little harm as possible to traffic, pedestrians, real estate and the rest of the urban environment. In installations, special attention should be paid to the safety of work, cleanliness and the high-quality and uniform visual appearance of the lighting. The Subscriber requires that the tenderer familiarises himself with the sites and the conditions prevailing in them before the deadline for questions. Timetable Installation work may begin as soon as the contract has been signed. The installation order and more detailed installation locations of the items will be agreed separately with the customer. The lighting of the Tammela elf and the Market Square must be tested, installed and in working order no later than 13 November 2026. Christmas lighting must be fully tested, installed and in working order no later than 18 November 2026. Christmas opening is on Saturday 21.11.2026 and the lights in Old Rauma will be turned on at 4 pm. More detailed ignition times for other lights will be agreed with the customer and the provider separately. The demolition work will be carried out at a time specified by the client in January 2027.
