… market views on how the procurement will be carried out All service providers interested in the service are welcome to participate in the market dialogue by responding to this market survey. As part of the market dialogue, please complete Appendix 2 Questions for Market Dialogue. Attached to this notice is also Appendix 1 Service description, for comment. The object of the procurement is dental emergency services outside of the working hours of oral health care in the Kymenlaakso wellbeing services county. Dental emergency services are intended for pain patients in need of urgent treatment and other clients in need of immediate dental care. The emergency services also treat patients who are going to undergo surgery (e.g. joint replacement surgery) or start medication, which requires oral and dental examination. Patients are examined and treated according to the treatment plan (including non-infectious focus). All patients referred to the clinic are treated in the emergency services, even if the activity has to be continued after 9 p.m. for this reason. Patient data is recorded in the patient information system (Lifecare) of the Kymenlaakso wellbeing services county, and the service must comply with the Current Care recommendations, other legislation in force and the guidelines of the wellbeing services county. The customer procures the service according to their needs and does not commit to a certain amount of purchase. The emergency services are carried out at the premises of Kymenlaakso Central Hospital in Kotka. On-call duty is organised: - on weekdays (Mon-Fri) between 16:00 and 21:00 on weekends, public holidays and Midsummer and Christmas Eve between 10:00 and 21:00. The service provider must be able to provide suitable personnel for the task. Dentists are required to have a valid right to practice in Finland and at least one year of experience as a licensed dentist in a health centre in Finland. Staff must have a good command of Finnish. The indicative date for the publication of the call for tenders is November 2026. There may be changes to the schedule. The contract is planned for the period 1.4.2027-31.3.2029. In addition, the contract includes two (2) one (1) year options. The use of option years is agreed annually together with the Service Provider three (3) months before the start of the option period.,
