… service providers, as well as comments on the implementation of competitive tendering and the preparation of the invitation to tender. The City of Jyväskylä will tender out regional public transport services in the Jyväskylä region for the agreement period beginning on 6/2028. The procurement concerns regional traffic organised by the Jyväskylä Regional Authority in the Hankasalmi, Laukaa and Äänekoski traffic destinations. The contract period begins in the summer of 2028 and covers a total of about 20 buses. The tentative duration of the contract is planned to be 8+2 years and there would be 3 items in the final procurement. The City of Jyväskylä invites interested service providers to a discussion event where preliminary drafts of the procurement content (e.g. required operating forces, equipment, automotive equipment requirements) are presented. Operators' views on the preliminary content and requirements of the procurement will be heard at the event. This is a request for information on transport services, the purpose of which is to initiate a market dialogue with service providers and the customer in connection with public transport services and their provision. Market dialogue is voluntary and participation in it is not a pre-condition for participating in a call for tenders that may be launched at a later stage, nor is it binding or binding on any participant in it. In addition, participation in a market dialogue does not affect the position of the tenderer in the actual call for tenders. The material presented at the event will be available afterwards. The event will be held with Teams on Monday 19 October 2026 from 13.00 to 14.00. We kindly ask market participants interested in the procurement to provide their contact details in the Offering Service by 16 October 2026 at 12:00 noon. Those who have provided their contact information will receive a Teams meeting invitation by email. After the joint market dialogue, it is possible that the City of Jyväskylä will hold separate market dialogues with the operators before the procurement is published.
