What the buyer is looking for
Service traffic for the period 1.1.2027-31.12.2028 (+ 1-year option) The City of Kemi will request your offer for the actual public transport service supporting public transport by low-floor bus (ex-service traffic) for the period 1.1.2027-31.12.2028. The agreement may be extended for an option period of one (1) year. Public transport is operated by one (1) accessible low-floor bus with three (3) different lines (attached to the invitation to tender). Lines are run on the entire route and the customer can call the previous day if necessary and order a bus to a place along the line. Cars should have space for wheelchairs / rollators / prams. … Rytikari). - The 1st line is driven on Monday and Thursday to the center and back once in the morning and once in the afternoon (driving time 2-3 hours) - the 2nd line is driven on Tuesday and Thursday to the center and back once in the morning and once in the afternoon (driving time 2-3 hours) - the 3rd line is driven on Wednesday and Monday or Friday to the center and back once in the morning and once in the afternoon (driving time 2-3 hours). Route schedules are drawn up together with the customer and the service provider. The current traffic schedule can be found on Kemi's website (https://www.kemi.fi/housing-and-environment/streets-and-traffic/public transport/onnikka/). The operator pays the ticket revenue to the City in a manner agreed upon separately. In addition to friendly and relevant customer service, drivers are required to have fluent Finnish language skills. Cashing devices must be able to read tag-based Matkahuolto travel cards. The payment method must be Kemi City Ticket, Meri-Lapland Serial Cards and any other regional ID-based Matkahuolto payment cards specified by the customer during the agreement period. In addition, Matkahuolto's national travel cards must be used as a means of payment. The customer price of a single ticket is the same as in Kemi city traffic. The service provider shall, at its own expense, ensure that the relevant up-to-date information concerning the mobility service is available through a connection to the information system in a machine-readable and easily editable standard data format for free use (open interface). The relevant information includes at least route, stop, timetable, price and availability information as well as accessibility information. The selection criterion is the best value for money and the comparison criterion is the lowest price. The contracting entity has taken quality into account in the tenderer's suitability requirements and minimum procurement requirements.
