The target of the procurement is the products of the 2028 maternity package. The maternity kit includes approximately 45-55 different baby clothes and various baby care items primarily intended for the needs of a newborn baby. The products are described in more detail in Annex 1 to the invitation to tender. Kela will acquire an estimated 20,000 maternity packages (+/- 15%) in 2028. The maximum value of the product package to be purchased is based on the Government Decree on Maternity Allowance and Adoption Aid (Decree 885/2002). It is currently EUR 210 per package (VAT 0%).
