It is a region-influenced mine. As regards the sub-area, the possibility for suppliers to supply ready-to-use fragment mines and/or fragment mine sub-components will be explored. Ready-to-use shard-acting anti-personnel mine: - Consists of a detonator and a charger, - The detonator may be attached to a mine or detached from a mine, - The detonator may also be attached to a mine only upon installation. In this case, the detonator must be packed separately in the packaging of the mines, - the packaging must meet the current explosives and safety requirements of the authorities. Sub-components of fragmented-acting anti-personnel mines: - Lighter, - Insert (shell and explosive), - Packaging of explosives containing sub-components must comply with current regulatory explosives and safety requirements. The Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command asks the supplier to answer questions concerning the production, delivery and commercial aspects of fragment mines if he wishes to be assessed as a potential supplier candidate for fragment mines or their components.
