The purpose of this tendering procedure is to apply for a marketplace supervisor to be responsible for the daily operations of the above-mentioned marketplaces. Contract period: From 1.1.2027 to 31.12.2028, with the option of a one (1) year stand-alone option. The City decides on the use of the option separately. Object of the procurement: Tasks of market surveillance Content of the work: Organisation and supervision of the operation of the marketplace, with a focus on the summer season (1.5.-31.10.), busy times and occasional public holidays. In addition, during larger markets and events, such as the March and Mikko markets, May Day, Mother's Day, Christmas market and occasionally also on Sundays. Tasks require attendance. The marketplace supervisor's working hours are, as a rule, 6 days/week (2.5 hours/day, 15 hours/week in total). On market Saturdays, the on-call time is from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. During the winter season, continuous presence is not required, but adequate supervision is obtained on a daily basis through a single inspection visit and on-call service. The estimated number of hours per year is between 600 and 700 h. The city does not commit to the number of hours. The marketplace supervisor charges daily and monthly vendors as well as other marketplace operators the fees according to the market square fee (at the payment terminal).
