… software. The Clinical Genetics Unit receives approximately 150 to 200 patient visits per week. The information stored in the software is of long-term clinical significance. When new patients from previously recorded families contact the Clinical Genetics Unit, often after several years, access to historical family data is essential. Therefore, reliable data preservation, availability, and retrievability are key requirements of the procurement. Laboratory system integration may be procured as an optional service and implemented as separately ordered expert work at the hourly expert rates specified in the Pricing Appendix.
