… are located in the centre of Rauma. Christmas lights are stored in 2-3 different warehouses in the centre of Rauma. Before the installation work begins, the customer informs the supplier of the place where the lights will be delivered. The provider is responsible for picking up the lights from the warehouses. Pick-up points and pick-up times are agreed separately. Content of the procurement As a rule, the procurement includes the following stages of work. Detailed site-specific job descriptions, scopes and requirements are set out below in this invitation to tender. 1. Collecting Christmas lights from the warehouses designated by the customer in the city of Rauma. 2. Receiving Christmas lights and testing functionality before installation. (Possible repairs will be carried out at the hourly rate for fault repairs and maintenance work, to be agreed separately with the client.) 3. Installing Christmas lights on objects indicated by the subscriber. 4. Implementation, connection and commissioning of the necessary electrical connections. 5. Checking the functionality of the lighting and correcting any defects detected during installation. 6. The dismantling of Christmas lighting at the time indicated by the customer. 7. Careful removal, packaging and delivery of luminaires, cables and other accessories to a warehouse designated by the customer. 8. Required fault repair and maintenance procedures when ordered separately. The tenderer should note that some of the installations will be carried out in a busy central area. The work must be carried out in such a way as to cause as little inconvenience as possible to traffic, pedestrians, real estate and the rest of the urban environment. In installations, special attention should be paid to the safety, cleanliness of the work and the high-quality and uniform visual appearance of the lighting. The customer requires that the tenderer familiarises himself with the sites and the conditions prevailing in them before the deadline for questions. Timetable Installation work may begin as soon as the contract has been signed. The order of installation of the items will be agreed with the customer separately. The lighting of Tammela elf and the Christmas Market Square must be tested, installed and in working order no later than 13.11.2026. The Christmas lighting must be fully tested, installed and in working order by 18 November 2026 at the latest. The Christmas opening is on Saturday 21.11.2026 and the lights in Old Rauma will be lit at 4 pm. More detailed turn-on times for other lights will be agreed separately with the customer and the provider. The demolition work will be carried out in January 2027 at a time separately indicated by the client.
