The request for information does not oblige the contracting entity to carry out the actual procurement or to carry out the procurement as described in the request for information. A contracting entity is not obliged to take into account the responses received to a request for information when drafting a call for tenders. Respondents to a request for information shall not be reimbursed for responding to a request for information or for attending a market dialogue event, if any. Responding to a request for information does not bind the supplier to participate in the invitation to tender, nor is it a condition for later participation in the actual invitation to tender. Responding or not responding to a request for information does not affect the position of the tenderer in the actual call for tenders. Information received in a request for information shall be treated confidentially. The object of the information request/future procurement is the ear surgery navigation system and its instrumentation. The purchase will be made to the Sansian owner-customer in the North Karelia Welfare Area (Siun sote). The acquisition includes the renewal of the navigation equipment of the anaesthetic and surgical department, as well as its multi-purpose and disposable instruments and accessories. INFORMATION REQUEST/ PRODUCT SERVICES Preliminary procurement questions are set out in the annexes to this request for information, to which we hope to receive answers and to chart the market situation. In addition, we would ask the supplier to provide the available range of product brochures related to the Ear Surgery Navigation System and related instrumentation (including device-specific products, multi-purpose instruments, and disposable instruments). In addition, we would ask the prospective provider to open a maintenance contract for the equipment in question.
