What the buyer is looking for
With this request for information, HUS requests information about language training for its personnel. The language skills of nursing staff are subject to, for example, the Language Act, according to which everyone has the right to use their own language, either Finnish or Swedish, when dealing with an authority. The aim of the language training is to activate the production of speech in the language being studied and to expand the vocabulary needed in the hospital world, taking into account the needs of each professional group and the student's starting level. The languages taught are Finnish, Swedish and English. By this request for information, the HUS Group (‘HUS’) is launching a market prospection for a future acquisition. … This document is not a contract notice or a call for tenders, but a request for information. The publication of the notice shall not constitute an invitation to tender. Responding to a request for information is not a condition for participating in a possible subsequent competitive tendering procedure, and responding to a request for information does not affect the position of the tenderer in a possible competitive tendering procedure. HUS Group and the respondent are not bound by this request for information. Replies from journalists shall be treated confidentially. The contracting entity does not undertake to carry out the procurement. Decisions on the launch of a potential procurement process will be made after the market prospection. Based on the responses to the information request, it may be possible to offer tenderers the opportunity to present their solutions in a way that will be announced later, and to examine in more detail what matters should be taken into account in the tendering process. Initially, the call for tenders is planned to be published in early 2027. The information provided in this notice, as well as any information to be provided during the market dialogue, is preliminary and indicative. HUS does not undertake to carry out the procurement or a specific method of implementation, and suppliers interested in the procurement do not undertake to participate in the tendering procedure. Information collected through a request for information may be used in the preparation of a possible tendering procedure and a call for tenders. The costs of responding to a request for information remain the responsibility of the respondent, and HUS does not pay any compensation for responding to a request for information or participating in a procurement procedure. The contracting entity requests that it declare its interest in the procurement on 13 October 2026 at EET. By 12 noon.
