What the buyer is looking for
The municipal engineering services of the City of Ylivieska invite tenders for snow ploughing and snow removal in street and other public areas, as well as for anti-skid treatment in accordance with the tender documents. Winter maintenance includes snow ploughing of streets, pedestrian and bicycle routes, public areas and city properties, as well as polluting, anti-slip and transporting snow away where necessary. The winter maintenance sites offered have been divided into partial purchases according to the attached map material. There are a total of seven (7) areas of winter maintenance. The order/designation of the sub-areas differs from the numerical order due to the preferred way of marking by the contracting entity. … are not possible, i.e. the tenderer must offer both (plowing and anti-skid) for the sub-area it offers. Subcontracting area 10 differs from other areas of winter maintenance in that the winning contractor in the area is also chosen as the first contractor for the entire winter maintenance. The tasks and pricing of the first contractor are described in more detail in the section "Additional information on the procurement or part". Winter-maintained streets, pedestrian and bicycle routes, public areas and properties may change during the contract period. The contract period is one winter maintenance period (winter 2026-2027) + possible option winter maintenance periods (winter 2027-2028) + (winter 2028-2029). The estimated starting time of the agreement is early winter 2026. The contracting entity may offer the successful contractors, at the hourly rates they offer, also separately ordered winter maintenance work outside the contract area. The contracting entity reserves the right to arrange hourly work also for contractors who will not be selected in the tender., Area 1 - Centre Required equipment: Three (3) ploughing units and two (2) sanders.
