… of the framework agreement shall be two years and may be extended by a two-year option period. Please refer to the draft contract for a more detailed description of the operating model of the contract period and the framework agreement. In addition to the City of Tampere, the customer is Tampereen Vesi Oy. , Tasks related to the exploration and remediation of contaminated sites The terms of reference of a framework agreement may include the following tasks and combinations thereof. - Exploratory work on a designated design or construction area to identify and assess the extent, degree and need of pollution remediation and to prepare a site-specific risk assessment. - Identification, demonstration and selection of the most suitable and cost-effective cleaning method for each site, minimising the required mass changes. - Preparation of environmental permit applications and/or notifications required for the treatment of contaminated soil. - Drawing up the plans for the remediation of contaminated soil and the documentation required for the remediation calculations, and acting as the environmental technical supervisor of the remediation. - Preparation of reports and summaries related to the transfer of land in relation to the cleanliness of the soil of the property. - Ensuring compliance with environmental protection legislation, waste regulations and environmental management guidelines. - Organisation of sampling and surveys using standardised or equivalent reliable methods. - Exploring the use of circular economy materials in earthworks. - Other clearing tasks and parallel reviews agreed on a case-by-case basis. - Comparison and suitability assessments of in-situ techniques for decontaminated soils. The terms of reference of a framework agreement may include the following tasks and combinations thereof. - Preparation of permit application documents for water management permits - Sampling of sediment studies and risk assessments in inland waterways and normalisation and reporting of results - Flow modelling - Dredging planning and drafting of works documentation The list is not exhaustive and may also include, as a sub-stage, expert tasks in other sectors. These tasks are negligible in relation to the main task of the mandate.
