Hankinnan kohteena on vammaisten henkilöiden työ – ja päivätoiminnan palvelut. Tarkempi erittely sopimuksen kohteesta käy ilmi tarjouspyyntöasiakirjoista ja palvelunkuvauksesta. Kyseessä on hankintalain (Laki julkisista hankinnoista ja käyttöoikeussopimuksista 1397/2016) liitteen E mukainen hankinta. Hankinta toteutetaan dynaamisen kaltaisena tarjousmenettelynä, joka tarkoittaa Tilaajan itsensä suunnittelemaa, hankintalain periaatteiden mukaista menettelyä hankinnan kohteena olevien palveluiden hankkimiseen (kuvattu tarkemmin liitteessä "Hankinta menettelyn kuvaus". Tilaaja varaa oikeuden tuottaa/hankkia palvelua myös muilla tuotantotavoilla. Palvelut ja palvelujen tilaaminen on kuvattu tarkemmin liitteissä "Palvelukuvaus".
