Ohkolan sairaalan pitkäaikaishoidossa olevien potilaiden suun terveydenhuollon palvelujen järjestäminen Hankinnan kohteena on suun terveydenhuollon palvelu (hammaslääkäri-hammashoitaja-työpari ja suuhygienisti) 120 pitkäaikaispotilaalle Ohkolan sairaalassa (Ohkolantie 10, Kellokoski), joilla lähes kaikilla on psykoosisairausdiagnoosi. Psykoosisairauteen usein kuuluu toimintakyvyn heikentyminen, joka saattaa näkyä myös puutteellisena kykynä huolehtia omasta suuhygieniasta. Lisäksi usein elämänhallinnan ja toimintakyvyn puutteisiin liittyy suun terveyden näkökulmasta haitallisia ruokailutottumuksia ja/tai esim. nikotiinituotteiden käyttöä. Hammashoidon tarve on runsasta ja aiempi hammashoito on usein jäänyt toteutumatta pitkältä ajalta. Potilaiden hoitoaika sairaalassa on pitkäaikainen, keskimääräinen hoitoaika on useita vuosia. Palvelu järjestetään Ohkolan sairaalan tiloissa palveluntuottajan tarvikkeilla/välineistöllä (tilaa tulee voida käyttää myös muuhun toimintaan niinä päivinä, kun hammashoitoa ei toteuteta) tai Ohkolan sairaalan piha-alueella palveluntuottajan liikkuvassa palvelussa säännöllisesti etukäteen sovittuina päivinä esimerkiksi 1 päivä viikossa.
