Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialueen Tyks sairaalapalveluiden tarpeeseen hankitaan julkisista hankinnoista ja käyttöoikeussopimuksista annetun lain (1397/2016, ”hankintalaki”) 25 §:n kansallisen kynnysarvon ylittävänä suorahankintana Medtronic-tuotteiden huoltopalvelua Medtronic Finland Oy:ltä ajalle 1.4.2026 – 31.3.2029, jonka jälkeen sopimus jatkuu toistaiseksi voimassa olevana. Palvelua on tarpeen hankkia, koska kyseessä on osastojen toiminnalle välttämättömien laitteiden huoltosopimus. Laitevalmistajan hyväksymä tai kouluttama henkilö suorittaa sopimuksen mukaiset valmistajan määrittämät laitteen huoltotoimenpiteet, mukaan lukien määräaikaishuollot ja niihin tarvittavat osat. Näin toteutetaan laitevaatimuksille perustuvat lakisääteiset määräaikaishuollot, jotka ovat välttämättömiä laitteen toimintakyvyn ylläpitämiseksi.
