Sata-alueen lääkäripalvelut (DPS) Satakunnan Hyvinvointialue (myöhemmin Hankintayksikkö) perustaa dynaamisen kaltaisen hankintajärjestelmän, jolla tarkoitetaan sähköistä hankintamenettelyä (DPS eli Dynamic Purchasing System). Hankinnan kohteena on Satakunnan hyvinvointialueen lääkäripalveluiden hankkiminen tilaajan tarpeisiin dynaamisen toimittajarekisterin kautta. Lääkäripalvelulla tarkoitetaan pääasiassa lääkärien henkilöstövuokrausta, jonka palveluntuotanto tapahtuu tilaajan tiloissa tai etänä. Dynaamisesta toimittajarekisteristä voidaan kuitenkin hankkia myös lääkäripalvelua, jonka palveluntuotanto tapahtuu toimittajan tiloissa. Dynaamisen toimittajarekisterin kohteena on sekä yleislääketiedepalveluiden että erikoislääkäripalveluiden hankinnat, sisältäen myös suun terveydenhuollon lääkäripalvelut. Myös hoitaja-lääkäri työpareja ja erikoistuvia lääkäreitä voidaan hankkia.
