What the buyer is looking for
The subject of the public procurement is the delivery of supportive snacks twice a week on the days – Tuesday and Thursday, when they are school days for students from 1st to 4th grade and children from the preparatory group at “Bacho Kiro” Primary School, Veliko Tarnovo. … for the supply of food products (milk and dairy products, meat and meat products, fish and fishery products, cereals and cereal-based foods, vegetables and fruits, etc., in accordance with Annex 1 to Article 4 of Regulation No N-1 of 23 July 2024 for a product group: Food, catering services and vending machines for food and beverages – food delivery), the contracting authority is legally obliged in 2027 to apply the requirement for the supply of snacks, in which not less than 5% of the total amount of organic food products from each of the groups listed in the List of Organic Food Products of the above-mentioned Ordinance will be used. The quantities of organic food products delivered may be provided by one or more of the types of products included in the List of Organic Food Products for each group. The producer/supplier of all organic food products used in the production of snacks from which the contractor will provide them must be certified in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on organic production and labelling of a biologist
